Dare to Compare

One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone says my kids look alike.  Not just alike.  Exactly alike.  I’m not sure why this peeves me.  I mean, they are both cute.  Mainly I think that it’s just not true.  But A LOT of people say it.

So I submit some photos below so you can compare for yourself…  Henry will be on the left, Emmett on the right, click for the best views.  Make sure to take the poll at the end to let me know what you think!

Three months old:

Six months old:

Nine months:

One year old:

Eighteen months:

They ARE brothers – of course they look somewhat alike.   But exactly?  I think not.  What do you think?

  1. Aunt Betty in New Jersey

My 10 pound, 2 ounce baby was the roly poly but now is the slimmest of all my children. The difference in the boys is most notable in the shape of their faces.
As siblings grow they tend to look more and more alike, but they still have their own individual features. My husband looked more like his father and my brother-in-law looks more like his mother. It’s in the genes. Uncle Tony died at 69 years of age. His older brother is now 81 years of age.

Lets see which side of the family this new little bundle of joy takes after.

I agree Aunt Betty – I think Henry has a big round noggin and Emmett has a narrow peanut head! I think Emmett looks like Rick and Henry like me.

What do you think?
