What was I doing 10 years ago? Hmm… well I was 16, and in March, I totaled my Nissan Sentra on highway 76 on my way home from Robyn’s house.  Jenny was following me home, and I had a friend named Rachel Finger in the car with me.  Mine was the only car involved in the accident. I over-corrected, hit some sand and lost control.  I hit a guard rail, and my hood flew off.  But if it weren’t for the seat belt burn on Rachel’s shoulder (the only injury), I would not have gotten a ticket!

Snacks I enjoy: Oreo Cookies, Caribou Coffee, sushi, most anything with good friends.

Five Things on my To-Do List Today:
1. get breakfast into Henry in under an hour 
2. go to the $1.50 movies with Stacie
3. buy a birthday present for Ayden
4. figure something (anything!) out for dinner tonight 
5. write this post

note:  I wrote the answer to this question last Thursday!  It’s taken me four days to finish the post, and Stacie & I missed the movie because Henry’s such a slow eater! I did however get dinner and a present for Ayden!!

Things I would do if I became a billionaire:I’d buy a nice piece of land maybe near Roxborough or maybe near Larkspur, maybe in the mountains. (Maybe one in Roxborough AND one in the mountains??) Put a cute little house on it… probably about the size of our house now, except with a better bathroom.  Get a few horses, some cows & chickens, plant stuff. 

Three bad habits:  Staying up too late reading, blogging through Henry’s naptime and not getting the house work done, and talking on the cell phone while I drive (by the way, this is how I got into that accident I just told you about!).

Things people don’t know about me: I’ve played in a professional symphony, and been paid to play in the pit of another high school orchestra while I was still attending my own high school.  I’ve taken two years of horseback riding lessons, and can ride both English and Western… and I’ve posted a trot with no stirrups!  I collect coins from other countries and rare ones from the U.S.  I love hardback antique books.  I’m a decent shot with a pistol or a rifle with open sights (though I have a hard time with a scope or a shotgun because I’m left-eye dominant, but right handed).  I used to dance: ballet, tap and jazz.  I’ve never been outside the continental U.S. with the exception of Tijuana, but that’s still pretty much So. Cal., right?
